I will not be ignored!

Mindset is everything. I know we’ve said it, but it’s worth saying again.

I was reminded of that when I was met with so much grace from some VIPs in my life.

As we launch the virtual community for Unapologetic Women, I’ve had so many people helping me along the way. And the leaders within the community have gotten early access. Which, in theory, sounds really cool… but it also means they get to see ALL of the things (the good, the bad, and the ugly).

Yesterday, I learned that every single time a new post was created, the members of that specific space got an email. Sure, you can turn this off, but I didn’t know that…yet.

I learned it when my sweet, beautiful, kind group let me know that I’d sent them 15+ emails in a row… the screenshots were comical.

BETA MODE: ON.

But the best part of all of this was that as I was sending my apology to the women, Pearl replied with, “‘I will not be ignored’ was today’s mindset!” And I immediately burst out laughing.

What a perspective.

Some would get 15+ emails and go straight to pure annoyance. Some would just assume it was an error. But Pearl…she made me realize that even in this moment, you could look at it and think, “Wow, I’m getting a lot of love and attention from Cassy today.”

I loved that. So much so that I had to share it with you.

How often do we get to choose the story we tell ourselves?

How quickly do our minds jump to frustration, embarrassment, or self-criticism? Even when there’s another option available if only we’re willing to pause and see it. 

Sometimes the difference between a hard moment and a hopeful one isn’t the situation at all… it’s the lens we’re looking through.

Your mindset is everything. Perspective will dictate every single moment of your day.

I know I’ve struggled with this personally. I have good days and bad days. I think we all do.

But just remember: “I will not be ignored,” and smile knowing that even during life’s glitches, there’s always a way to find the love & light.

& be nothing but yourself.
