What has your attention?

On Wednesday we'll officially be past the halfway point of 2026. Can you believe that?

Six months behind us. Six months ahead.

And if you're anything like me, there's something about these checkpoints that prompt you to pause. To reflect. To ask, How the heck did we get here so quickly?

As I looked at the calendar this weekend, I realized something...

The biggest threat to the life we're trying to build isn't always fear or failure.

Sometimes it's simply what has our attention.

We become so focused on deadlines, responsibilities, and everything demanding our time that we stop noticing what's right in front of us.

The person who needs encouragement.
The opportunity we've been praying for.
The conversation we've been meaning to have.
The dream we've convinced ourselves can wait until "things slow down."

This weekend I heard a question I haven't been able to shake:

Who am I supposed to notice today?

Then another one followed:

What am I supposed to notice today?

I love both questions because before we can make a move, we have to notice there's one to make.

Opportunity rarely arrives with fireworks. More often, it looks like an ordinary moment, an ordinary conversation, or an ordinary person crossing our path.

As we approach July, many of us will reflect on the first half of the year. We'll think about the goals we've accomplished and the ones we've postponed.

But maybe there's another question worth asking:

What has my attention been building?

Because what has our attention eventually has our time.

And what has our time eventually shapes our lives.

You've still got six months.
Six months to notice differently.
Six months to prioritize differently.
Six months to build differently.

So what has your attention been building?

You've still got time to make the move.

Big hugs & so much love,

Cassy
