Did you win the lottery today?

Better yet...did you even buy a ticket?

I answered "no" to both of those questions. And I'd guess most people will answer no to at least one.

Now, I’m not much of a gambler (only because I’m a horrible loser), but the lottery illustrates something we all know to be true: you can't win if you don't play

I spend a lot of time talking with people who want something to change.

A new career, a healthier relationship, a business, a promotion, more peace, or more purpose.

But so many are waiting for the right moment instead of creating one.

My response is almost always the same: You can't create change without making a move.

The move looks different for everyone.

Saying yes.
Saying no.
Applying.
Sending the email.
Making the introduction.
Having the hard conversation.
Starting before you feel ready.

None of those guarantee the outcome. But every one of them buys you a ticket.

Look back at this week…

What move did you make Monday?
Tuesday?

Yesterday?

Because if every day passes without an intentional move, you're waiting to win a lottery you never bought a ticket for.
