Abundance, Alignment, and a Little Cassy-ism for You Today

We can hold hands without stepping on toes…

I've been using this Cassy-ism a lot lately and it’s becoming my new favorite.

It first came up in a conversation with Ryan while we were talking about how the Cassy Williamson brand and Impact Eighty-Eight align.

We don’t compete. We compliment each other. We grow each other, we build each other, and most importantly…we don’t take from each other.

But as I’ve repeated it more and more, I’ve realized that this idea is far bigger than branding.

It’s a philosophy for how we live, work, and lead.

It’s true in sales.
It’s true in leadership.
It’s true in friendships, business partnerships, even in “competition.”

Ken Coleman talks about scarcity vs. abundance and I couldn’t agree more. He reminds us that gratitude and generosity aren’t just nice ideas; they’re actual gateways to abundance. When we stop operating from fear and start believing there’s more than enough to go around, everything changes..

One of my favorite books, The Go-Giver, hits it too. It flips the script on success by showing how true influence and fulfillment come not from taking, but from giving and adding value to others without keeping score. I believe wholeheartedly that if we all operated from an abundant mindset, we’d create more collaboration, less comparison, and a heck of a lot more joy in the process.

What if we believed that sharing big ideas, dreams, processes, failures, and wins with everyone made the whole world better?

What if we stopped hoarding our brilliance and started pouring it out?

I do. That’s how I lead. That’s how I coach. That’s why I wrote Unapologetic.

Because when you show up Unapologetically as yourself, the goal isn’t to outshine others, it's to light up the room with them.

So let me ask you:

  • Where do you have an opportunity to form alliances over opposition?

  • Who have you seen as a “rival” that might actually be a future collaborator?

  • Where can you hold hands without stepping on toes?

Ryan and I unpacked this and a lot more about Unapologetic which you can find here, and it reminded me just how beautiful alignment can be.

Unapologetic isn’t just about owning who you are. It’s about pouring that same bold, honest energy into the people around you too.
