This little light of mine…

Yesterday, I delivered our very first Founders Unapologetic Women webinar.

And the theme of the entire presentation was belonging.

Eleven-year-old me wouldn’t believe it.
Eighth-grade me.
Fourteen-year-old me.
Sixteen-year-old me.
Eighteen-year-old me.
Twenty-two-year-old me.
Twenty-six-year-old me.
Thirty-year-old me.

You get the point. They’d all be in disbelief.

Because the truth is… I never quite belonged.

I tried.
I conformed.
I compromised.

And still, as I share in Unapologetic, square peg, round hole. That’s always been me.

So I’m honestly still a little speechless. Still in disbelief that God has brought me to this season. A season where I get to create a space fueled by love that brings women together for community, connection, growth…for belonging.

If you’re going through something heavy or if you’ve already been through it but you’re not quite on the other side yet…

Please believe this with me: God is working through you.

Unapologetic (and Unapologetic Women) are my living testament that the messy, the dark, the heartbreaking…those lived moments, those experiences, those chapters are teaching us something.

They’re showing us something.

They’re helping us believe something new about ourselves and what’s possible.

What have you gone through that you could one day transfer to someone else in a positive light?

Because we all have the power to make a difference, but only if we choose it.

So this is my challenge to you (and I hope you take it):

Where can you choose light today… and let it shine?

And I hope in your head you sing, “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine…”

Big hugs & love,

Cassy
