Don’t Quit in the Middle
You ever see someone win who really, really, really deserves it?
Far too often we see the wrong people in the spotlight. The loudest voice is heard over the most impactful. The largest following equates to the most attention.
Not today.
That’s right. Today, I am celebrating someone who really deserved to win.
Someone who has taken leaps of faith.
Worked quietly, but consistently.
Been intentional about growth, education, and culture.
And not only was he recognized, he was awarded “Sales Leader of the Year” at the Nationals (NAHB).
I am jumping up and down with excitement. Shouting from the rooftops. Jordan, you did it my friend!
But, not everyone walked away with a win. Not everyone got to take the trophy home. Not everyone’s efforts were recognized, YET.
Keyword: YET.
If you are in a season where you’re showing up and doing the work — being consistent, being intentional, pouring into the people around you, getting the job done — but you haven’t gotten the recognition, received the promotion, landed the new job, or… won, I need you to hear this: just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t happen at all.
Let Jordan’s win serve you in two ways this morning.
Celebrate together because whether you know him or not, you have to know that championing others will only help you too rise
Remember that you can’t always be winning. There are seasons for each of us, but the consistent, intentional, hopeful, and serving will win…it may just not have happened YET.
Jordan, your “yet” became “now” and you’re the best God-wink reminder to all of us to keep going…love ya big buddy.
Big hugs & so much love,
Cassy
