But is it Really Burnout?

What if burnout isn’t the problem?

I thought I was burned out. But do you know what I really was?

Undervalued. Unaligned. And exhausted from proving something I couldn’t.

Burnout isn't always a workload issue.

Sometimes it’s a self-worth issue.

Other times, it’s being in the wrong position—or sitting at the wrong table altogether.

Here’s what I didn’t know back then:

  • I said yes to everything because I thought that was the cost of rising up.

  • I didn’t rest because I always felt like I had something to prove.

  • And I stayed in misaligned spaces far too long because I felt like I owed them for the opportunity.

But burnout didn’t need a new calendar or more self-care.

It needed boundaries. It needed boldness. It needed belief.

The moment I stopped tying my value to how much I could do for others was the moment I started to heal.

So if you're feeling drained [not just tired] but like you’re running on E...

It may not just be burnout.

It may be a call to start valuing yourself enough to stop the cycle.
